Purpose
The incidence of disability rises sharply with age and with a growing ageing population it is projected in Ireland (north and south) that the number of households with at least one person with a disability will grow over the next several decades.
This event has been organised by CARDI, SPARC and CEUD to help share and review a range of developments in the fields of social inclusion, health and design. It will promote the value and role of ageing-related research for policy and practice and has been designed to appeal to a range of stakeholders, professionals (including policy makers, health, housing and social services providers), industry, voluntary and community organisations, researchers with an interest in ageing, carers and older people.
